Final project meeting held in London

SBEA (Small)

Final meeting of the project Student Business e-Academy – SBeA was held on 25-26 May 2017 in London, hosted by the Middlesex University.

Project SBeA is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program, KA2, strategic partnership in the field of higher education, and the main goal of the project is to develop high quality personalized online program for young persons interested in entrepreneurship. Program is available through e-learning platform which also hosts other useful literature, such as SBeA Guidebook for beginner entrepreneurs, SBeA library and Digital start-up game, all of which can be used for free to gain key entrepreneurial skills and market knowledge. This way, young people will be given a chance to realize their own business ideas or to increase chances of their employability, as well as to develop interpersonal and intercultural skills. Program SBeA also implies mentors’ support and personalized learning, which is one of the main benefits of this program.

At the Final meeting, partners have assessed all the intellectual outputs created by the project and have made a detailed plan for the remaining activities of the project and one last intellectual output to be completed. Also, students’ and mentors’ feedback on the experience with the platform and content of the modules was discussed, which was used to set the guidelines for final improvements of the platform and the modules.

Partners have also discussed and agreed on finalizing one last intellectual output – SBeA Guidebook for beginner entrepreneurs, which will be available in three languages and tailored for three markets – Croatia, Spain and Great Britain.

As for all remaining project activities, partners have agreed on the plan and the program of the upcoming SBeA training conference, which will be held again this summer from 23rd till 28th of August 2017 in Pakoštane, Croatia, as part of the Summer Jam Croatia. Students who enrol in the SBeA Program for academic year 2017/2018 will be considered eligible for attending the SBeA training conference, all according to the terms of the open call published by partner universities in a timely manner.

Representatives of all partner institutions have attended the final meeting.  Meeting was rated as successful by all partners – partners have agreed on a number of important questions.

All project news can be followed at this website, as well as on the SBeA Facebook page.
